Jesus was born somewhere from 6 to 4 BC in the town of Bethlehem in Judea. He was raised in the village of Nazareth in northern Palestine. He was baptized by the prophet John, and began work as a carpenter. When he was 30 he began to have pubic ministries, he did this for the next 3 years. His teachings had ideas from Jewish tradition like monotheism, and the 10 commandments. He told people that god will end wickedness and create an eternal kingdom for after death for people who repented their sins. Jesus' popularity was concerning Roman and Jewish leaders. The chief priests denied that Jesus was the messiah. Pilate arrested Jesus and ordered him to be crucified. After his death he was put in a tomb, and three days later his body had dissipated. His followers began to call him Jesus Christ, and then the name Christianity was created from Christ.
